arranger of the high voice orchestral score, Max Puttmann, and
will have served as the printer's copy for the first edition
(PV2h1):
the Hofmeister
Monatsbericht includes no entry for that edition, but
the
plate number
(7785) suggests that it was part of a batch of newly
originated scores for the Mahler songs prepared in late 1916 and
first issued in mid-1917. |
